The task
Heilbronn is switching to digital water meters. Together with Stadtwerke Heilbronn and HNVG, the Ferdinand-Steinbeis-Institut is researching what can be done with this data. The project needed a website the institute could maintain itself. Without tracking and without a cookie banner.
What we built
- A website with eight pages and a content management system in German. The institute changes texts, images, team and menu itself, and changes are online straight away.
- It is based on our own template for websites with a content management system. The design is fixed in code, the content is free to edit.
- A contact form that keeps out spam without a captcha and also works without JavaScript.
- Hosting in Germany with daily backups and round-the-clock monitoring.
- A guide for the editorial team and a handover to the institute’s team.
What it achieved
The site was online after six weeks. It needs no cookie banner because it loads nothing from third-party servers. The institute maintains the content without us, and we take care of servers and updates.
